The Safety Platform Cargo Surveyors (SPCS) is committed, along with the inspection industry related businesses, to ensure safe working conditions on ships, in factories and on terminals for surveyors who carry out independent inspections, take samples and perform other related duties in accordance with national and international legislation .
The Safety Platform Cargo Surveyors also wants to be the central point of contact where it comes to occupational health and safety of surveyors.
The Safety Platform Cargo Surveyors disseminates information on security incidents so that procedures and guidelines can be continuously improved and for greater awareness and optimal "safety behaviors".
